The game is played in similar fashion to Tic-tac-toe but with four grids of 4x4 that are stacked vertically. A player can win by putting four of his symbols in four squares that are vertically aligned horizontally aligned or diagonally aligned, either on a single grid or equally spread across all four grids. There are 76 possible ways to win and is in contrast to eight possible ways to win on a typical 3x3 board. It can be played with two players playing against one another, or one player can play against a built-in AI using one of eight difficulties.
